CAR PARKING IS VERY LIMITED IN THE TOWN. IT IS SUGGESTED THAT IF AT ALL POSSIBLE TO USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT. THE TRAIN STATION IS LESS THAN A 5 MINUTE WALK FROM THE FESTIVAL SITE.

What are the opening hours?


The festival is open from 10.00am until 7.00pm


Where can I buy tickets?


You can purchase tickets in advance online by following this link.

Last day for booking your ticket in advance and receiving them by post is Sunday 19th May.

You can book your tickets online after that and then pick them up on the day.

Advance booking of tickets finishes on Thursday 30th May.


You can buy your entrance tickets at the Festival gate on the day:

£5 Adults

£3 accompanied children - 12-16 years

Free Accompanied children under 12 years


Am I allowed to bring my dog to the festival?


We are holding a Fun Family Dog Show and dogs are of course very welcome. However, we do,ask that they remain on their leads at all times and you use the dog bins provided. If your four legged friend needs to stretch its legs and run off some energy why not take a walk along the river just a 2 minute walk from Victory Field.

There will also be water buckets available for your thirsty companions.


Travelling to the festival


  • By Car. Car parking is limited in the town centre but there are a number of car parks in Bradford On Avon. The closest to the festival, under a 5 minute walk, is the station car park. Please follow this link to see other available parking in the town.
  • By train. We would really encourage you to travel by train into the town. Bradford On Avon’s train station is on the Wessex line with regular services, generally every half hour, to and from Bath. Also further afield to Bristol, Wales, Westbury, Salisbury, Southampton, Portsmouth and London on the Waterloo line.
  • Walking & cycling. Bradford On Avon is ideal for walking and cycling and very popular amongst locals and visitors to the area walking or cycling along the Kennet & Avon Canal towpath which is no distance from the festival. Active travel map.

At the festival can I pay by credit or debit card?


Please bring cash with you the day. There are no cash machines available on Victory Field. But do bring your cards as many of our stall holders do accept card payment.

However, please remember the majority of our stalls are run by small artisan producers so cash is always preferable.

ATM’s in the town can be found at:

  • Sainsbury’s
  • The coop
  • Outside Carter & Harding Opticians in The Shambles, BA15 1JS
  • And at both Texaco garages in the town, Trowbridge Road, BA15 1EG and Woolley Street, BA15 1AF

Will there be seating?


There will be plenty of seating, both covered and uncovered, at the festival. But please feel free to bring your picnic blankets and fold up chairs with you if you fancy.


Will there be free drinking water?


There will be free drinking water available from the pop up pub so make sure you bring your reusable and refillable drink bottles with you.

When you enter Bradford on Avon Food and Drink Festival you enter an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur.

By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by Bradford on Avon Food and Drink Festival and its affiliates and representatives.


Disabled Parking


There are numerous disabled parking spaces at the Railway Station in Bradford. It is less than five minutes from the venue and underfoot is tarmac.

There are a couple of disabled parking spaces a the pay and display car park by the Tithe Barn too.

We cannot guarantee that these spaces are available at all times.

We have accessible toilets on the event ground. The surface is fairly even but grassed.
