The Re.Store was founded by Mische after 14 years designing for lifestyle brands worldwide (Jack Wills, Herschel Supply Co. and Truly). Always finding herself joining the brands in their early days, some at the very beginning, allowed her to spend her career being part of their global growth. Seeing the good, and the difficult ways to build a brand. Originally an online hub, The was a place to find out about Mische’s yoga classes which organically grew in to offering so much more.

The more she taught yoga, the less connected she felt to some areas of the fashion industry, not only because of the mass production and the impact this has on the environment, but also in relation to metal health within an industry that prides itself on being busy. Struggling to connect the two paths, Mische set off to create her own brand that was first and foremost steeped in her values; slow living, slow fashion, considered fabrics, ethical manufacturing and with minimal waste.

“My aim for the brand was to create beautiful pieces of clothing that spoke to the vintage loving, fashion mix-matching ladies out there, a group that I felt the sports industry missed out. I live in my yoga gear, I wear leggings under vintage dresses, I never take a sports bra off and I really longed for something that represented who I was outside of the studio. I figured it couldn’t be just me. I knew that if this was going to happen it had to be done differently, I didn’t want to make volumes of product in order to achieve a margin, I wanted this to be small, bespoke, and I wanted to be able to grow the product with the customers ideas and values steering the ship.”

We are proud to be made slowly in the UK, considering the entire ethical process of making our products.
